Reminder: Swimming prohibited in reservoirs

Thinking of going for a refreshing swim? While there are many excellent swimming spots in the Chaleur Region, the reservoirs marked on this map are strictly off-limits.

Despite clear signage at the reservoirs, please remember that swimming — for both people and dogs — is strictly forbidden in the City of Bathurst reservoirs.

These reservoirs, located near the Water Treatment Plant off Golf Street, are the drinking water supply for the entire City of Bathurst. It is crucial to maintain a stable, contaminant-free environment to ensure safe and clean drinking water for all residents.
