The City of Bathurst will become the new owner of the Bathurst Aquatic Centre in the month of July, extending the lifespan of this crucial resource within our community. This decision will ensure the community can continue to access facilities there to secure its long-term sustainability.
Through this opportunity, the Aquatic Centre will benefit from the City’s resources (existing departments will be able to support it, such as finance, human resources, public works, etc.) rather than operate as a standalone facility.
