PUBLIC NOTICE - 1935 St Peter Avenue
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Bathurst intends to consider amendments to By-Law No. 2006-01 entitled "The City of Bathurst Municipal Plan By-Law” and City of Bathurst Zoning By-law 2008-01 entitled “The City of Bathurst Zoning By-Law” by changing the land use designation as follows:
1935 St-Peter Avenue:
Council received a request from Eastlink to amend By-Law No. 2006-01 entitled “The City of Bathurst Municipal Plan By-Law” and By-Law 2008-01, entitled “The Zoning By-Law“ for a portion of the property located at 1935 St-Peter Avenue having PID number 20802625.
The applicant proposes to use a portion of the property to install a communication tower. The property is classified in the Municipal Plan as “Commercial” and in the Zoning By-law as “Highway Commercial”.
In order to allow the installation of a communication tower of this property, the land use classification in the Municipal Plan and in the Zoning By-Law needs to be amended from “Commercial” to “Communication Tower (TC)”.
Any interested persons may review the proposed By-law at the Planning Department, City Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Written objections to the said amendments may be made to the City Council by forwarding them to the City Clerk before 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2019.
Council will meet at City Hall at 6:30 p.m., Monday, August 19, 2019 to consider written objections to the proposed amendments and anyone wishing to address Council on their written objections may do so at this time.
