Jeff Glendenning resigns from Council
October 02, 2018
Jeff Glendenning, member of Bathurst’s City Council since May 2018, has resigned from his Council position. Glendenning has accepted a new position that will have him working out of the province of New Brunswick, making his commitment to Council difficult even under the best circumstances. “I’m disappointed to see Mr. Glendenning leave as his youth and his entrepreneurial experience brought an interesting element to the dynamics of City Council. That said, I understand and appreciate his decision, and wish him the best in his new endeavors”, said Mayor Paolo Fongemie. An election to fill the vacant seat on Bathurst City Council is not expected until the spring of 2019.
