PUBLIC NOTICE - CITY COUNCIL BY-LAW MOTION

At the Regular Public Meeting of Bathurst City Council on Tuesday April 19, 2022, Council voted on the first reading of a motion to approve proposed By-Law No. 2022-03 entitled “A BY-LAW DESIGNATING PORTIONS OF ROADS WITHIN THE CITY OF BATHURST AS ACCESSIBLE TO OFF-ROAD VEHICLES”, this under the powers granted by the Off-Road Vehicle Act, S.N.B. 1985, c.-O-1.5 and its amendments.

The intent of the proposed By-Law is to allow Off-Road vehicle access to travel on specified roadways within City Limits.

Second and third reading of the motion will be at a later date, pending review of the proposed By-Law by the provincial Government.
