REPEAL OF BY-LAW RELATING TO HUNTING IN THE CITY OF BATHURST
September 19, 2023
At the Regular Public Meeting on Monday September 18th, Bathurst City Council passed a resolution to repeal By-Law No. 2005-16 – “A BY-LAW RELATING TO HUNTING IN THE CITY OF BATHURST”.
In New Brunswick, the provincial Fish and Wildlife Act covers all matters related to hunting and fishing within the province, covering the regulatory framework and defined permissions for hunters and fishers, but especially the protections afforded to New Brunswick citizens.
As such, it was determined that the City of Bathurst By-Law No. 2005-16 was unnecessary.
