International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia
To mark the 20th edition of the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia, an initiative of Fondation Émergence, we proudly raised the LGBTQ+ flag today at City Hall.
For the occasion, several young people, allies and members of the community gathered to raise awareness of the violence and injustices against LGBTQ+ people around the world and to promote inclusive and safe living environments.
Fierté Chaleur Pride, who was present today, adds that the Chaleur region is a place where diversity and inclusion reigns more and more thanks to the work of the people who make our region a welcoming one.
