Snow clearing and driveway markers

As the City of Bathurst is preparing for Winter Snow Clearing and Removal operations, we recommend the following steps to ensure snow-clearing operations are as efficient as can be:

DRIVEWAY MARKERS

Residents are asked to place their driveway markers at a minimum of 2 meters (6 feet) from the edge of the roadway (Pave). This will allow for better roadway cleaning, and help prevent damage to markers or snow removal equipment.

INITIAL DRIVEWAY CLEARING

In order to reduce the possibility of snow pileup after the plow passes, we suggest that residents clear snow at the left side of their driveways, minimizing roadway snow accumulation in driveways.
